TOPSERIES Pickleball updates its calendar to strengthen the player experience and support broader participation 

Three key adjustments will reinforce the TOPSERIES Pickleball calendar: Alicante moves up in category, Hamburg becomes the circuit’s first Ultimate event, and Madrid Evolve brings its dates forward to June 12–14th. 

At TOPSERIES Pickleball, we work each season with a clear objective: to build a solid, attractive and sustainable circuit designed above all for players, partners and fans. After closely analysing the evolution of the competitive calendar in recent weeks, we have decided to introduce several adjustments that we consider essential to protect our community experience and ensure a balanced and accessible schedule for everyone.

We understand that calendar planning is fundamental for players, companions, clubs and teams. We are also aware that, in an increasingly dynamic environment, external movements can lead to overlaps between competitions. Faced with this reality, at TOPSERIES Pickleball we assume the responsibility to act with anticipation, sensitivity and common sense, always prioritising the interests of those who bring this sport to life: the players.

For this reason, we would like to officially announce three relevant updates within the TOPSERIES Pickleball calendar:

First, TOPSERIES Pickleball Alicante will now be part of the Evolve category, a change that represents a significant step forward in the scale, visibility and competitive value of the event within the circuit. Previously classified as a Challenge, this tournament now moves into a higher category, offering an opportunity for players to continue growing and earning points in a more dynamic competitive environment.

Second, TOPSERIES Pickleball Hamburg has updated its dates and will now take place from May 28th to 31st, becoming the first Ultimate event in TOPSERIES Pickleball. This marks a decisive step in the international expansion of the circuit and in the consolidation of an event destined to occupy a prominent place in the calendar.

Finally, TOPSERIES Pickleball Madrid Evolve will be brought forward by one week and will now be held from June 12 to 14th. With this change, we aim to offer a fairer and more accessible competitive alternative, preventing players from having to forgo important opportunities due to overlapping dates.

This decision reflects a conviction we consider non-negotiable at TOPSERIES Pickleball: we want to support the growth of pickleball through collaboration, responsible planning and deep respect for the time, effort and passion of the players. Our purpose is to remove barriers, not create them, to make it possible for players to compete more and better, without having to choose unnecessarily between key tournaments.

As an organisation, we will continue working with the same ambition as always to deliver top-level events, take care of every detail and adapt responsibly to a constantly evolving environment. The strength of a circuit is also demonstrated by its ability to make responsible decisions that benefit the entire community, even when they require strategic adjustments.
